There are some monumental challenges looming for mankind in the next several decades.
Mostly they are challenges of adjustment and adaptation.
These talks provide some insights into the nature of those changes, which have no historical precedent.
They represent extraordinary opportunities.
One of my hopes for this website is that it will contribute to an awakening and that to
some degree it will help to ease the psychological shock the changes will represent to many.
Mental models and frames of reference will need to be "updated". For some this will be easier than others.
The rule of thumb of six degrees of separation, which has as its roots mathematics, suggests
that this information is now a very short distance from those who can make constructive use of it.
The butterfly effect, which flows from chaos theory, suggests
that even the smallest pertibation can result in monumental shifts in forces and that this is
dependent on initial conditions.
