"Job One" of organizing the 2012 Grad reunion is to find everyone and establish a communication
vehicle to get everyone together - emails and a phone tree.
Twitter
To email all grads with updates is a laborious process because individual emails are needed to get past
spam filters. It means addressing, copying and pasting and sending almost 100 emails now.
We need a simple way to let grads know about updates to the website when there is news to share.
One solution is to use Twitter which permits very short messages to be sent from the desktop or
mobile phones. Not everyone will want to or be able to sign up for Twitter but this is one
communications shortcut we can use as part of a total communications “package”.
The 2012 DSS Reunion Organizing Committee encourages you to sign up for Twitter. We have created a
special Twitter account for you to “follow” to get news of website updates.

The Delta Secondary School Grad Class of 67 Twitter Account is operational. When you
have signed up for Twitter you can "follow" DSSGRADCLASS67 and you will automatically
receive Grad Reunion updates! According to the New York Times, Twitter growth is being driven by adults not teens.:-)
